New to Kinu?
Kinu is for iPhone and Android. Download the app, create an account, and add a few people you want to stay close to. For each person you can keep moments (the little things you notice and want to remember), important dates like birthdays, and private notes that stay for your eyes only.
Kinu needs an account so it can back up your data and let you restore it later. You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. Once you're signed in, the app works fully offline. Your writes save to your device first, every time.
Download and sign in. Get Kinu from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
Add your first person. Tap to add someone you want to stay close to. See Adding your first person.
Capture a moment. Jot down a little thing you want to remember, or record a quick voice note. See Adding moments.
Set a date that matters. Add a birthday or anniversary so Kinu can give you a gentle heads-up. See Important dates.
Free and Plus
Kinu Free includes everything you need to start: up to 10 people, all on your device, with people, moments, voice notes, important dates, reminders, rituals, private notes, the Relational Compass, and lenses.

How Kinu treats your privacy
Your relationship content belongs to you. Photos and voice notes stay on your device and are never uploaded. When you turn on Plus sync, your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves, and it stays encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't access your relationship content as part of running Kinu.
Private notes are kept apart from everything else. They're never analyzed, never surfaced, and never used by any feature. They really are for your eyes only.
