How to Subscribe

Start Kinu Plus or buy Lifetime from the Kinu app in about a minute.

When your circle grows past 10 people, or you want Kinu on more than one device, Kinu Plus is how you unlock it. You subscribe right inside the Kinu app on iOS or Android, and it takes about a minute.

Before you start

You will need a Kinu account, since Plus is tied to your account so your purchase follows you across devices. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. If you are already using Kinu, you are already signed in.

The app store handles the actual payment, so you do not enter card details inside Kinu.

Subscribe on iOS

Open Settings

In the Kinu app, go to Settings.

Tap Subscription

Open the Subscription screen to see the plans.

Choose your plan

Pick Monthly ($6.99/month), Annual ($69.99/year), or Lifetime ($149.99, a one-time purchase). The App Store always shows the current price for your region.

Confirm with Apple

Confirm the purchase through Apple. Your subscription is managed by your Apple ID, and Apple handles payment, renewals, and receipts.

Subscribe on Android

Open Settings

In the Kinu app, go to Settings.

Tap Subscription

Open the Subscription screen to see the plans.

Choose your plan

Pick Monthly ($6.99/month), Annual ($69.99/year), or Lifetime ($149.99, a one-time purchase). Google Play always shows the current price for your region.

Confirm with Google

Confirm the purchase through Google Play. Your subscription is managed by your Google account, and Google handles payment, renewals, and receipts.

Not sure which plan fits? See Plans and Pricing for a side-by-side comparison. The short version: Monthly and Annual are subscriptions you can cancel anytime, and Lifetime is a single payment with no renewals.

Subscribing on the web

Web checkout is not available right now. To start Kinu Plus or buy Lifetime, subscribe in the Kinu app on iOS or Android.

Once you have Plus, web access is included. Sign in at kinu.care with the same account and your subscription is recognized automatically. There is no need to subscribe again.

What happens after you subscribe

As soon as your purchase is confirmed, three things change:

  • Unlimited people. The 10-person limit from the Free plan no longer applies, so you can add everyone who matters.
  • Sync turns on. Your data is encrypted on your device and synced across your devices in the background. Learn more in how sync works.
  • Web access unlocks. Sign in at kinu.care and open your Kinu from any modern browser.

Everything else stays exactly as it was. Your people, your moments, your important dates, your private notes, your lenses, and your Relational Compass are all unchanged. Plus simply lifts the limits.

Already have Plus on your phone and want it on the web? Sign in at kinu.care with the same account. Your plan is recognized automatically, so there is no need to subscribe again.

Managing your subscription later

How you manage your plan depends on where you bought it.

  • On iOS, your plan lives in your Apple ID. See Manage Your Subscription on iOS to change or cancel it.
  • On Android, your plan lives in your Google account. Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions to change or cancel it.

If you bought Kinu Plus through the web in the past, see Manage Your Subscription on Web.

Switching to a new phone or reinstalling the app? You do not need to buy Plus again. See Restore Purchases to get your subscription back.
